Elizabeth is a professional educator with a masters degree in special education who has taught students with learning differences for over 15 years. She is also an ADHD certified educator and a learning behavior specialist.
After graduating from the University of Dayton, Elizabeth went on to earn a Masters in Education from National Louis University and a Special Education and English Language Learner endorsement from North Park University. She received certification for emotional regulation with Dr. Marc Brackett from the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence. She also holds a certification executive functioning skills for anxious and disengaged learners from Sarah Ward from Cognitive Connections and Peg Dawson, author of Smart, but scattered. She also holds an ADHD certification from the center for ADHD research and functioning.
When she's not working with clients, she pending time with her three young sons and husband. She loves warm weather and spending time at the beach!
I offer a complimentary meeting to go over the process with the student and their family. After this initial consultation, I follow up with the family to recommend an appropriate service for their needs.
I am available on an hourly basis to work with individuals and families to support classroom and home behavior functioning, reading with dyslexia, Executive functioning, ADHD support and IEP services.
I offer a complete service that includes evaluating the student's academic record, establishing reachable goals, advising the student throughout the IEP/504 process as well as advocating for the student.
